The Journey South
Your adventure begins in central Edinburgh, where you’ll meet your friendly guide and settle into our comfortable 16-seat coach. As we leave the city behind, relax and enjoy the rolling hills, rich farmland, and charming villages that define the historic Scottish Borders.
Up-Close with Highland Coos at Jacksons at Jedburgh
Upon arrival, you’ll receive a warm countryside welcome from the farm team. Your immersive farm experience starts with a scenic trailer ride through the pastures, introducing you to the resident animals and the daily rhythm of the farm.
The main highlight? Spending quality time in the barn with the Highland cows. Here, you’ll get to brush their shaggy coats, hand-feed them treats, and take plenty of photos. You’ll also get to meet Alba - the farm’s adorable baby Highland calf - for a truly memorable close encounter.
Explore & Unwind
After your guided tour, enjoy some free time to wander the farm at your own pace. Chat with the farm team, grab a hot drink or local bite at the farm café, or pick up a keepsake at the gift shop before we begin our gentle journey back to Edinburgh.

What's Not Included
- The transport to and from the farm is not guided, your guide will be there to welcome you at the farm. Your lovely driver will play Scottish music on your 1.5 hour journey to the farm and back.

- 8am or 1pm start time on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays
- Pick-up location: Castle Terrace, opposite the NPC car park at the bus stand marked on the road (Saltire Court, 20 Castle Terrace, Edinburgh EH1 2EN, UK)
- This tour only runs if we have 3 participants, if this is not met then the tour will be cancelled 48 hours ahead of departure and a full refund or reschedule will be offered.
