For a fantastic aerial view, we highly recommend the optional climb up Conic Hill (361m) – we think it’s among the best views on the West Highland Way. Afterwards, the path leads you through the charming village of Balmaha—a perfect lunch spot—before continuing north along the loch’s wooded shoreline to Rowardennan. This is the day where you truly feel the pull northwards along the West Highland Way.
